Get original parts yourself at your brand car dealer or get alternative parts Example toyota a/c conditioner compressor has 2 electric sensors you can get for $20 or $50 and get replaced. For a fee. -but new mechanical don't deal with that -they will recommend full replacement of compressor and if you don't know that. its go to hurt your pocket instead paying $600 you'll pay like $1200 Another example toyota minivan awd has a "viscous coupler" that at some point bearings start making loud noise in the rear differential Cost ebay $250+ they will tell you need a new/used differential cost $2500+ So if you don't do your own research it will cost you a lot. That's the new mechanical sooner or later you will find any shop will be like going to any medical office. World is changing those who doesn't adapt they die.”

I guess I asked the wrong question because when my name was called they told me that "yes, this fob is broken but you'll have to come next week to get a new one." I asked why? I was told that dealerships don't carry extra key fobs. That's total BS because other dealerships I've gone to would have it and program it on the spot. They were dragging their feet because it was free under warranty but there is no such thing as a free lunch. I live a half hour drive from the dealership so besides gas it was a $18 bridge toll times 2 this "free" key fob cost me. They knew I was going there for a key fob so why not have at least one in stock? Stay away from this dealership.”
