“This small, family owned dealership was very friendly, helpful, and I did purchase the vehicle from them. The check engine light came on as I was driving it home from the dealer...I called him, as it was a problem with the catalytic converter ($$$) and he stood behind the car, bought the new Cat, and also the new Manifold when it was found to have a crack in it. He paid out a lot to have these fixed...unfortunately, the mechanic he used did a horrible job and the whole thing started to fall apart on the way home. They did not put the bolts in to fasten the cat to the manifold! No gasket either! Lost all acceleration a few days later and had it taken to a local shop. Shop checked everything, replaced all the missing bolts. Bolts were also missing from the subframe, which caused the other rattle. Now, check engine light came on again. Checked it out, and most likely has to do with the quality of the cat and that the mechanic who put it in drilled an extra hole in it and then put putty on it to seal instead of weld it correctly. Faulty Cat now....needs the whole thing replaced again because of the mechanic. Will notify the dealer, but this was not his fault. He did his best to get the car fixed right.”
