“This seems to be a turn-key business. My impression is that this dealer knows how to keep his presentation and online reputation looking clean. I was surprised that I wouldn't be permitted to take the car to my mechanic for pre-inspection. I couldn't bring my mechanic to DJ's for that without additional personal expense to either of us. I was looking at a 2019 Mazda CX-5 that seemed since-auction beautifully conditioned with limited dealer warranty but that model year is notorious for costly issues. While the dealership represented they could make any and all repairs, this impasse was no guarantee of good and timely follow-through. A foundation for mutual good faith couldn't be established. This app doesn't allow a neutral recommendation option, which I think is the proper one in this case.”
