I went to them after buying new tires at a big box retailer because the big box said the car needed some steering components due to some play in the joints. The bill would have been about $1,300 but when Dan's compared the new part to the existing they realized the play was normal and the big box was wrong. Instead of proceeding and taking my money, Dan called and let me know that the work didn't need to be done.
