Brought my Tiguan for an oil change and tire rotation. Appointment was at 1. Got a text from the service guy, let me know if you have questions during your visit. 2:00 rolls around, 2:30...send message to Andy, whats taking so long? He's going to check with tech. 15 minutes later, he comes to tell me that the oil gasket was leaking and they had to find the part and send someone to get it. Would probably be another 30 minutes or so. It was closer to 45 minutes. 1:00 oil change, tire rotation, left dealer close to 4:00!!! I understand things happen, what I don't understand is why I had to ask what was going on, that should have been relayed to me when it happened and they realized they didn't have the part. Very frustrating all the way around. Service manager did kind of apologize and didn't charge me for the tire rotation. Nice, but my complaint still stands that there was zero communication until I had to ask. I sure hope they do better next time.
