The vehicle was priced at $17,995. We charge only one fee so the total out the door would have been $20,834, including NJ sales tax, plates and registration. Anything beyond this is a fabrication.

Customers are always welcome to test drive the vehicle or vehicles they are interested in. In cases of very expensive vehicles, typically $70,000 or more, there are occasions when we may request a credit application prior to a test drive.

Every customer is welcome to see and drive any vehicle, or vehicles, they are interested in purchasing. In most cases, customers will inspect and test drive a vehicle before discussing details such as interest rates, monthly payments, etc. In this situation, the reviewer insisted on a monthly payment which was mathematically not possible given the price of the vehicle. Apparently the reviewer mistook our attempt to explain this as a refusal to show the vehicle, something that we would never do. Our goal is to provide our customers with not only a great vehicle but also a great experience. The truck absolutely was detailed inside and out. Unfortunately, the temperature was below freezing the morning the reviewer came to pick it up so the water was literally freezing on the truck as we tried to wash it. He told us he was going to take it to a car wash and we gladly covered the cost of that. In all fairness, he also complained about the truck not having fog lights when we did not advertise it with them and the photo's clearly showed there were none. We take customer service seriously and always do our best to accommodate our customers. Unfortunately the weather conditions made it difficult and I regret the reviewer could not understand that. Any emails we send are in response to an email inquiry we receive. That's the only way we would have a customers email in the first place. Sunny, Making an appointment does speed up the process, but buying a car still takes time. In your case you likely had to inspect the vehicle and test drive it. You then would have sat down with a Sales Associate to review the vehicle history, pricing, options, etc. The deal then moves to finance where we likely had to have you fill out a finance application which was then submitted to a lender for a decision. After that you would have had to sit down with a Finance Manager to review and sign all the sale and loan documents. The final step would have been for you to take delivery. This entire process typically takes between 1 and 4 hours depending on the amount of customers we are assisting at any one time. I hope this explains why the process took the time it did.
