“I had scheduled an appointment for an oil change and a tire rotation. And with the service coupons I received from Wilde via email, I was thinking that I would be spending under $100 for the service that day.
Their service department found other items that needed to be addressed, and I ended up spending over $1800 that day. Yikes. Most of that expense was labor ($1434.61) -the rest was parts.
My vehicle was in their service department for just over 3 hours (3 hours and 15 minutes).
Rounding UP the service time to 4 hours means that their labor costs $358.65 per hour.
That seems outrageous to me.
And supposedly, the prices I was charged included 'every discount or coupon' available.
I wasn't very happy.
Then, I really felt STUNG when I went to pay and found out that the dealer just last week, added a 2% service charge to credit card payments. If I had been aware of this, I would have brought a check, a debit card or cash. But since I wasn't informed of this ahead of time, I ended up with an additional service charge of $37.14.
I'm not happy.”
