“Once again, everything was perfect, timely,accurate and clean. With one exception. My car was there for two service campaigns, one of which pertained to the front camera. Through my following of you tube and Facebook messages, my understanding was that a new feature would be added to my car as a result. When I picked up the car, specifically, I asked the service writer about the new feature. He responded that nothing new was added. I:further clarified that my understanding was that one was added including a new button to control it. Again, he shook his head and stated I was wrong and nothing was added. I thought no problem, I might have misunderstood, thanked him and left. Later, on the way home, I pressed a few buttons and discovered a new feature, indeed, had been added: proactive driving assist.
The purpose of my inquiry while at the dealership was to learn what this feature did, its operation and how best to use it. I find it frustrating to be told incorrect information when he could, easily, if he didn't know the correct answer, rather than guess, to have asked someone else. A simple I don't know would have been better than outright incorrect information. Why is that so difficult to understand?”
