I had my truck towed here after it broke down on me. They got it right in that same day with only half hour of diagnosis to figure I needed a new water pump and thermostat. Quoted $1550 for entire job. Labor was just over $600 and parts just over $800. Ended up getting my own water pump for $112 compared to there almost $600. Up till this point they were on track for a 5 star rating so I had them go ahead and start the job. They call an tell me that I need a new belt tensioner so again I get the part cheaper than they can but they want to charge me an extra half hour labor to install it when it's part of the original job. After explaining this to them they understand and correct the issue. So I go to get the truck and unfortunately it's after they closed I couldn't get there in time. First thing I do is check the coolant and my reservoir bottle not only has nothing in it but is not bolted down tight. Radiator also was not full and didn't replace the windshield washer fluid they had to drain when they removed that reservoir bottle which I had just filled all my vehicles a couple days prior. My truck is fixed an I'm thankful for that but for $175 an hour labor rate you need to be on your best game an the finish just wasn't there with those few inconveniences upon picking up my truck and the slight try to jar me for that extra half hour labor which how do I really know they didn't? Not sure if I'll use them again probably if I was in a bind like this time but keep a close eye on them. This visit earns Darlings of Newport 3 stars
