2025 Infiniti QX80
2025 Infiniti QX80 Review
The 2025 Infiniti QX80 is a large luxury SUV with three rows, and it can be configured to seat seven or eight people. It’s for drivers seeking a full-size premium SUV with ample power and a swanky cabin.
Infiniti equips all QX80 SUVs with a 3.5-liter V6 engine. This engine generates 450 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque and is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is standard and 4-wheel drive (4WD) is available.
The QX80 is excellent for drivers seeking an SUV with outstanding towing capability. All models have a tow rating of 8,500 pounds, so this hauler can easily handle campers and trailers. The cabin is spacious, with adult-friendly seats in all three rows – and while the previous generation of the QX80 had a lackluster cabin, things have improved with the 2025 redesign. This model has a stylish interior with deluxe materials.
Infiniti fills the QX80 with desirable standard equipment. All models have heated first- and second-row seats, dual touchscreens, and a 14-speaker Klipsch audio system.
The QX80 also has some weaknesses. Its fuel economy is subpar in its segment, and this SUV’s cargo room is below-average when all three rows are in place.

2025 Infiniti QX80 Reviews
Consumer Reviews
I've had my QX80 for a couple of weeks now. I love the smooth and quiet ride (air suspension), the bells and whistles like the Heads Up Display and heated steering wheel, and the technology is pretty smooth and without issue. The door handles receding when you lock the car and walk away is my favorite fancy amenity. Quality sound system, ambient interior lighting, and hands free lift gate are also all big pluses! Seats are comfortable, seat warmers and ventilation are efficient, and it's a beautiful sleek car on the inside and outside.
I drove and researched over 6 luxury sun's hands down the clear winner I love it!
Good car. Just a little bit too expensive for a family car.
This is my 6th Infiniti that I purchased. This car has been in the shop consistently since purchase. The electronics have consistently failed requiring periodic updates in the shop. While a beautiful vehicle, this edition really needs to work out the electronic bugs. Very frustrating.
This car drives like a luxury car, very smooth and comfortable. I wish it had a bigger gas tank and better mileage. I drive an average amount and am constantly filling the tank. Also, the heated steering wheel barely gets warm and it is very patchy heat. The second row seating needs to be manually lifted to slide forward in order to get in the 3rd row which is annoying.
