2009 Chevrolet Aveo
2009 Chevrolet Aveo Review
The 2009 Chevrolet Aveo is a subcompact car that seats five people, available in four-door hatchback and sedan body styles. The Aveo is for drivers seeking a budget-friendly small car.
Every Aveo has a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine under the hood that generates 107 horsepower and 106 pound-feet of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard, with a 4-speed automatic available. All Aveo cars are front-wheel drive (FWD).
The Aveo’s base price is so low it’s one of the most affordable cars on the market; it’s excellent for drivers seeking budget-friendly transportation. This subcompact also has superb gas mileage, with EPA ratings as high as 30 mpg combined city/highway. It’s a strong pick for drivers who want to minimize fuel costs. This Chevy also has an upright design that translates into ample headroom, so tall drivers will find that it’s a comfortable fit.
There are also a couple of shortcomings to consider. First, the Aveo’s list of standard equipment is meager: The base trim has cloth upholstery, a four-speaker stereo, and not much more. Also, acceleration is tepid.

Consumer Reviews
Reliable, cost efficient and dependable.
bast car I had i long time I have car just oil changed keep going
To compact ashtray and cup holder only can use one at a time I don't like the tore sencers and to low to the ground I think it's a left hand person car because of where reverse is but over all I love my aveo5
purchased car in 2009 brand new . only 8 miles on car. now with regular maintinance and a few repairs 112,000 miles.
I think it's hold ups to its persistence and driving tolerance. It highly rated with car driver stripes (race) but hard to obtain parts/ maintenance as it ages. Love It to death/want Hybrid 2026.
