“I was traveling home from Virginia on 85 south. There was a good deal of traffic but it was flowing. In the Henderson area I was in the left lane. "Something" was on the road. I learned later that it was a ladder. With nowhere to go I ran over it-not too big of a bump. Immediately I could feel my front driver's side tire was flat. I managed to get to the right shoulder of the road at exit 213 and called 911. The dispatcher sent a very nice officer who proceeded to change the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire. He then proceeded to guide me to a nearby Walmart for a new tire. Unfortunately they didn't have my size. They tried to direct me to a nearby tire store. Upon leaving Walmart I spotted Crossroads Ford. I was thinking, "It can't hurt to ask." I went into the service department and spoke with Cliff. He checked and they didn't have the right size. He was able to locate the right size nearby and sent someone to pick it up. They were able to replace the spare with the new tire and get me back on the road. Cliff and Crossroads Ford were lifesavers for me that day.”
