The shop had my car since 11/18/24 and began working on it on 12/16/24. When I asked for an update on 11/27/24, they told me, "Parts are here ; the tech is either working on it or will be soon." This was false, considering the advisor told me they were ordering a new engine on 12/13/24. At one point, the advisor could not provide an update because they hadn't been able to look at my vehicle after a month of it sitting there. He asked me for a copy of my driver's license and registration a second time, even though I had already submitted those documents. So much time passed that I renewed my registration. He also mentioned that it would take a while to receive the shipment and offered a rental. The rental was provided after a month of them having my vehicle. Four days later 12/20/24, my vehicle was repaired. The timeline did not make sense. I remained patient, as repairs take time, but overall, the communication was terrible.
