I was at the dealer for a recall and they said my alignment needed doing. So as soon as I got my car I went to pep boys where I had purchased the lifetime warranty. I called to see if they were able to squeeze me in. They were. Dropped off car. After a while I looked on the link and it hadn't been assigned yet. So I called to see what was up. They said about 45 minutes. About 45 mins later they called and it was ready. Yea! Thank you, Pep boys!

A 30 minute job took three hours while I waited. OUCH. The shop was understaffed and first the manager warned me that it would take 90 minutes which I accepted. But then the manager spent an hour to find the tires I had preordered on the internet because of a bad location in inventory. After finding them he did not update me on the added delay and new time line. When I finally asked, he explained things and promised that the car would be ready in 20 minutes. It was another 60 minutes until the car was ready and 10 more for finishing the paperwork. He was then defensive saying it was not his fault. So BAD COMMUNICATION, LACK OF CUSTOMER CONCERN AND LACK OF STAFF. BEWARE!
