I am on my 3rd service for my 2021 Toyota 4Runner Limited. First service was great. People were very nice. Service seemed correct. 2nd service was oil change. No one spoke when we got there. It felt like we were in the way. Not near the experience and the first time. 3rd service comes up. It is my tire rotation, but my truck is telling me that oil is due to be changed. They said they dont know why when I call. I get there and ask can they check it out since we are scheduled for a service and they are the only ones who have serviced it. The guy was super nice. Very friendly. He tells me they will handle it. I get a call from him that my in cabin filter needs changing. My husband says go ahead. We were busy and it would be one less thing for us to do. My husband knows his way around vehicles, but again, we were busy, they had the truck and he said it will probably be about $30. Let them do it. He told me it would take less than 5 minutes. We go pick it. It was $92 for the filter. Crazy, but ok. They have to make their money. We get that We leave and get all the way across town home. Get dressed for dinner, jump in the truck and when we turn the air on it sounds like a jet engine. My husband tells me to head there because they either didnt seat the filter properly or something was in it. We were headed to our dinner reservations an hour away. We head there, pull inside. No one, I mean no one, greets us, asked us if they could help, nothing. They just walked around us. Mind you we had called to let them know we were on the way and the reason. About 5 minutes of standing there and a nice gentleman comes out of an office and sees us looking a little less than happy. He stops to check on us realizing that people are just walking around us. My husband tells him what is going on. He opens the door, pulls the glove compartment open and when we see the filter there is all sorts of leaves and debris in it which the man said was causing the crazy noise. I said we literally just paid them to check the tires and change the filtershouldnt they have cleaned it out? He just gave us a smile and he cleaned it out. The next morning my spare tire light comes on. They didnt check it. This service was for my tires. My husband took care of it, but it is frustrating to drop a vehicle off for a free scheduled service, pay $92 for a filter that cost next to nothing and takes less than 3 minutes to pop in only to have them not do the job right. Again, our tech that we met for the appointment was nice. I dont blame him and we are thankful for the gentleman that fixed their error when no one else would. It wasnt his job, but he fixed it. When I bought this truck I tried to buy from Florence Toyota. I like to buy local, but you can not buy new cars in this town. I have the paperwork to prove just how many thousands of dollars I saved on the truck I wanted as opposed to the one they wanted to sell me without everything I wanted and for much more money. The service is not good. Just a warning check your service.

I would have given 5 stars except for the following reason: I have never seen a drop of oil under the engine until the next morning when I went out and there was an oil spot about the size of a baseball under engine. I looked underneath and there was oil all over underside. I checked drain plug and it seemed to be tight, but could not see oil filter. So, I waited until after I drove it the next day and there was a smaller oil spot underneath. After next drive there was none. So, I imagine that oil was spilled while pouring oil into engnie.

The service advisor was nice,but the price and the extended service,sucked,I got ripped off,and service manager said,they were going to give me a 10percent discount on parts,he fell through on his promise,and they robbed me,and ripped me off,shame on them,1560.00to change a alternator,and then they broke a bolt they had to replace,and the skumbags charged me for there screeup,the nerve and the audacity,it's loousy service,poor customer service,and lady service advisor originally send I would be out at 100,they lied to me,took advantage of me,and charged me 579.00 for the new alternator,and labor alone was 750.oo,it was taken advantage of,and this dealer will be reported on,I contacted corporate,nothing got resolved,I'm writing a letter to better business bureau,and iam hoping for some time of refund.
