I no longer trust Don Beyer service. Pricing isn't transparent. In addition to the 3% credit card fee that they only tell you about when you go to pay, they also don't divulge shop fees so I ended up paying close to 1000 for the 60,000 mile check despite being quoted 800 something dollars. They recommended unneeded services and didn't perform the services they were supposed to under the 60,000 mile check.

They did a good job, but did not top off the power steering fluid affter replacing the pump. So it made a sould when I first drove the car until I slowly topped it off with about a cup of fluid. They also couldn't replace the ABS ECM as it was no longer being made and wouldn't put it a rebuilt unit. So I hade to do this myself to get the warning lights to turn off.

The car was as expected and our salespeople were both knowledgeable and attentive. We would have liked a bit better of a deal as I struggle with why there are two lines of doc fees but I also understand they need to make money and cover costs. They did a good job with prepping the car and no pressure to add extras but did make us aware of what they had to offer. I would purchase a car from them again.

Service took much longer than estimated and, while things like this happen, I was never contacted by the agent to keep me up to date. The only time he contacted me was to tell me what additional services were recommended and get my okay. I had to ask him what was going on after each deadline had passed. Better communication would have made it easier for me to decide whether to wait or come back after the work was finished.
