Fast general service (oil change and tire rotation) - I was able to wait in lobby. Had to make an appointment though, I don't think they accept drive-ins like some of the other dealerships/service shops do. In the past appointment openings for this type of service was sometimes a couple of weeks out.

They didn't fix the problem. Check engine light is back on again. I was told they fixed it. I called them on Jan. 31 to let them know that the same issue is happening and haven't received a call back after I was promised they would take care of it. We just bought vehicle on Dec. 20, 2024.

The salesman (a young man who I'm sure hadn't been there long) was pleasant and facilitated getting me a car to test drive and see. The problem is he didn't take my information and even though I sent it to the dealership he never got me information about the value of my vehicle or any proposal for a trade. That was at least three weeks ago and I haven't heard anything back. Guess he wasn't interested in my business.

Ames Ford Service got me immediately to replace my vehicle battery one cold, January morning when my Escape wouldn't start. While I waited, I was able to telework in small cubicle which meant I was able to stay on top of my work load and save my leave/PTO for something more fun. Always a great experience at Ames Ford!

Was told we had 3-4 nails in one tire. It would have been nice to get a little more information about the nails like photos or description to help us figure out what might have happened (like was kids, was it sabotage or was it a construction site accident, etc).

Excellent service as usual from the folks at Ames Ford. Since this was a recall involving connections on the wiper arms, the tech made a "house call" with his service vehicle instead of doing this at the shop. He was on-time, finished in minutes, we visited a bit (as usual) and he was on his way.

I have been taking my F150 to Ames Ford for the past few oil changes, they have been very good to schedule me, drop me off at my job call me when its done and would come get me if i needed. They do the service work check other items give the paperwork and I'm on my way. If there is any issues they let me know if they see anything that may need attention. I'm very satisfied with Ames Ford Service.

Ames Ford Lincoln experience was great. I came in and told the staff what problems my truck was experiencing. They gave me a loner car to use while they checked everything out. Then called me to let me know what they found and gave me a cost estimate. They had everything fixed in one day and the cost was less than I expected. I had problems with the front braking system and took it in for service. Service was reasonably fast. Service techs called to let me know what needed to be done and the approximate cost for repair. Repairs were made and I'm on the road again. Very happy with the service.

went there for simple issue (trunk cannot be open using electronic button). They finished in 2hours, got charged around $330 for 2h labor, fuse, and cables. Would be nice if they asked my permission first before actually doing the fix. I would not approve it for sure for that much of a cost. Its way way too expensive for a simple fix.

I have an outside warranty company, needed wheel bearings, they had one on hand which was installed, the other was back ordered. They left the ticket open till other bearing came in. Brian called to keep me updated.
In meantime the drivers heated seat went out. Brian in service was able to get it all handled on one ticket. Saved me 2 service fees. Great Service, Great Customer Service.

Installed 2 new tires. Bill was as quoted. Service timing was as promised. Personnel was cordial. The only problem was I wanted to keep the best tire of the pair as a back-up and they put the wrong tire in the trunk. I did not notice until I was home. Called them and they are going to pull the tire and swap with me the next time I am in Ames.
