2023 Acura MDX
2023 Acura MDX Review
The 2023 Acura MDX is a midsize luxury SUV that’s a good fit for drivers seeking premium accommodations and solid utility. With three rows of seats, this Acura seats seven people — comfortably in the first two rows, less so in the third, which is best left for kids.
The MDX offers two engine options: The standard engine is a V6 that produces 290 horsepower, while Type S and Type S Advance trims have a turbocharged V6 with 355 horsepower. A 10-speed automatic shifts the gears on all MDX SUVs, with front-wheel drive (FWD) standard and all-wheel drive (AWD) available.
A modern, upscale cabin makes the MDX a pleasant haven for passengers. Its design is stylish, and the materials used are high-quality. There are lots of standard features, including wireless device charging and Amazon Alexa. One key drawback, however, is the infotainment system’s touchpad interface. The system’s graphics are attractive, but the touchpad is challenging to use and could be a distraction. Also, while the standard engine is adequate, some of the MDX’s rivals have more potent base engines.

Consumer Reviews
Acura MDX A-Spec was a car that we were looking for in the blue color. It replaced a 2016 MDX with 170,000 miles on it. We liked all of the chrome being blacked out on the A-Spec trim. We felt based upon our past experience with Acura, that the quality of the build, and the low maintenance cost were very important considerations in continuing to stay with the Acura brand.
The car is great in almost every aspect with the exception of the infotainment system. Not having a touch screen is a reel draw back but everything else is great. Just use car play for navigation and set all functions before driving.
Overall, this is the best car I’ve owned. I’m 75 and have had many.
So far, it's been a great car.
Great car solid and great value for the money
