I have taken my cars to Yates for many, many years and have always been extremely satisfied with the service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and never try to "upsell" services you don't need. This year I also had some body work done up the street at Yates Collision and had a fabulous detail job done at Yates carwash. My old car looks brand new! I highly recommend all three Yates establishments!

I had my car towed to use after the battery was found to have died. Yates agreed to identify the issue and found not only was the battery dead. Additionally, the starter needed to be replace. They quotes over $2,500.00 for the work which was more expensive than any other auto shop that I called. Comparable prices from similar competitors were $1000.00 total.

I had two separate vehicles serviced at Yates Automotive the first was a complete replacement of the ignition system on my 1965 Ford Mustang. Yates did a fantastic job!
The second was to address an oil leak on my Cadillac CTS. Again, great work at a reasonable price.

Work is fine but I approved work of $900 and when I got there they told me the bill was over $1300. They got it down to a little over $1,000 after I disagreed, but it shouldnt have happened. Id suggest getting and approving estimate in writing and requesting that they contact you for permission before going over that amount, just to avoid any miscommunication.

Our car's electrical system died on a Saturday morning. We ended up having it towed to Yates (we have used them before). They were friendly and efficient, as usual. They couldn't get it done before Monday, but that was because they needed to order parts. It did get done when they said it would be and the car has been running just fine since.

This was the third time I took my car to Yates to have it fully detailed (in/out) and as always, they did not disappoint. Sure, the $250 price point isn't inexpensive, but the attention to detail and quaity of work performed, makes my six year old GTI look like new!

Went to Yates garage in Alexandria due to unexpected nail in my front passenger's tire while driving on I395 Garage not listening to my instructions, proceeded to "repair" my driver's front tire! Nothing wrong with this tire a d charged me $50. Drove home and parked car.

Long time customer. Friendly staff and service team who know what they're doing. Reason I keep coming back here is that I never feel like I'm being ripped off. They will give you their recommendations for service but never push you into doing anything unnecessary.

I'm confident in the quality of their work, but the cost is quite high (nearly twice what I paid at a different shop for the same work on the other end of the same axle) and started the day after it supposed to be completed. It's a good shop, but this was a particularly unsatisfying experience.

The staff was friendly and professional. This was my first time at this new location and was very impressed. I brought my car in for its annual maintenance check and oil change and I was amazed how quickly it was done. I can always count on Yates for honest feedback on what work is needed on my car and reasonable prices. I highly recommend Yates for both automobile servicing and body work.

Yates Automotive on Braddock Rd in Alexandria is a lifesaver In our DelRay/ Rosemont neighborhood. Professional, thorough evaluation of my suddenly flat tire resulted in removing the culprit ( a nail) an expert patch AND they fixed a problem with the front car door. All in short order and at a reasonable price. Excellent service.

Yates not only worked hard to get my car fixed but the service was truly exceptional. Stuck on the side of a road they arranged for a tow and a loaner for me. Kept me updated and truly not only gave me lip service about understanding my difficult situation but took action to help out and do what they could to help. I am one of those people that only rate 5 stars for exceptional service and they were truly exceptional.

We are extremely pleased with the interior detail performed by Yates. Our 8 year old car looks like new inside. Years of road trips, kid carting, and drink stained carpets cleaned away! They even removed blue pen ink from our tan leather. Highly recommend this service!
