Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry you had a bad experience Monday. I wasn't here that day, but I can only say that absentmindedness is why you didn't get a sticker. I can also say that the maintenance reset on Volkswagens can be very difficult to figure out if you don't do that many of them. There are so many different makes and models we have to figure out and the processes are often changed from year to year.
As far as the "racist vibe", I don't think I've ever seen or heard anything from anybody working here that would lead me to believe that's an issue. Some people are quick to throw that out as a blanket to cover whatever problem they think they have.
This is not a racist establishment. I've been in business here since 1999. I have very many "colored" customers. Whether they're black, hispanic, asian, middle eastern, everyone gets the same respect and service. The language barrier has been the only issue.
I know you've brought both of your Volkswagens here since November of last year and if you ever think or thought there was an issue, I want you to let me know. If there's a problem it will get fixed. Maybe someone was having a bad day and you took it wrong.

They're a bit pricey. They use good oil (Amsoil) vs others and prices are up all around but there are still other places easier on the budget.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I looked back over your invoice and realized we could've saved you about $26 by not using the suggested "Euro-spec" synthetic oil. Your car has enough miles on it that we could change to Mobil 1 5-w30 and still have a quality synthetic oil change for less money. My employee automatically entered the "Euro-spec" oil without taking the mileage of the vehicle into account. I apologize for the mixup.

My vehicle requires an unusual viscosity oil. The only type they had was very expensive. I did the oil change anybecause it was needed. On the way home they called to tell me they found it in another brand (Mobile1) that was much less expensive and that they will have it in stock from now on. That let me know that they go the extra mile for their customers.

It's not the brand, but the "Euro-spec" that costs so much. A little time spent searching for alternatives goes a long way. Grumpy old guys who act like they are being bothered when you pull in. No questions, no customer service just "you're ready " when they were done. I drive by this place every day and rarely do I see vehicles in for service. Cant blame the employees here, you have to blame the management. Much better service companies out there.

While it is never okay to be rude or impolite to customers, sometimes there are underlying circumstances. You came to our shop for an oil change late afternoon. You were cashed out at 4:51 pm. The temperature that day was 97 outside, which means it was probably several degrees hotter inside the shop. You were oil change customer number 22 of 25 that day. That means we had been steadily busy from 8:15 am to well after 5 pm. Working in the heat is sometimes miserable. Maybe you can understand.... The fact that you don't see vehicles in for service at the time(s) you drive by doesn't mean we don't have work. It just means you don't see what happens here all the time. As I said, I'm sorry you had a bad experience here. Things are not always as they seem.

I went in with a busted radiator. They wanted to charge me 1400 dollars to replace it. 750 in labor for five hours work at 150 a hour. 500 for a radiator and more for coolent. Radiator for 2014 Chevy Malibu is 120 dollars. Got it fixed for 300 labor and radiator for 120 dollars. About a 1000 less. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I understand that everyone wants to save money, especially on repairs to older vehicles. We charge the same labor rate for everything we work on, whether it's 2 years old or 20 years old, and our labor times are pulled from the latest published data from 2 different automotive industry standard labor guides. We get our parts from several different sources, so parts prices vary from job to job and part to part. In order to be in business and stay in business we have to make money on labor and parts. I have employees who, like most Americans, want and need to make a livable wage. If we don't charge accordingly for the quality of work we do and the quality of parts we source, then my employees don't make enough money to survive. I understand that you wanted to get the job done "cheap", but we don't do "cheap" work. We do quality work that I've been able to stand behind for 24+ years in business. We also provide a 2 year or 24,000-mile warranty for most jobs we do. I'm glad you got your car repaired for a price that suits you.
It seems you've just developed a problem with the oil change service we performed on January 3rd as well. If there's an actual problem with anything we did, we will take care of it. As I stated earlier, I stand behind our work.
