I had an appointment for an oil change and free tire rotation at 0830. I arrived and checked in ahead of that time.
The shop wasn't busy. I didn't get out of the shop until after 1030! Over 2 hours! And had to suffer through a front desk clerk trying to upsell me with over $500 worth of unnecessary services on a car with about 25,000 miles on it.

Counter service person was friendly and actually read my service/maintenance request and ask me if i had other concerns. She even reviewed my vehicle maintenance previously completed and had manufacturer's recommended work that needed done. Highly recommend Bristow VA Tire & Auto service.

The worst I was just in there for New Year's Eve. Waited 5 hours for an inspection. Specifically asked the guy at the register was my vehicle due for a emissions test while it was still in the bay and was told no lo and behold a couple nights ago. I go to try to purchase my decals through DMV and what pops up but the fact that I need to do another emissions test so I had to go back waited another 3 hours on the second trip

Happy the mechanic was the only one working the emissions and state inspection bay. It was a 3 hour wait on 1/2/2026. He stayed positive and honestly deserves a raise. There were at least 20 cars when I arrived at 11. Not sure how many he did before then but confirmed they inspect 45 cars per day. Better planning needed to better support their staff and customers. I've never seen it like this. We go earlier next time.

I made an appointment for an oil change and it took two hours, while I waited, which was too long. I was not amused with the $50.00 tariff charge, which should have been disclosed upfront. For close to 25 years, I have been a client of yours thru multiple vehicles, but I am seriously considering not using your services in the future.

There was nothing I didn't like. I have used this shop for my car inspections for a number of years. The shop was empty, I guess the third Wednesday at 3, is the best time to get your var inspected. I usually wait until the last day, which is an awful time.
I always feel welcomed and am treated respectfully. The place was also extremely clean.
