I was able to get in late in the afternoon on a Saturday, and my car was done by the end of they day. The front desk agent who checked me in, remembered me and had my keys ready when I returned to pick up the vehicle (unfortunately I did not catch his name). He was great, excellent customer service.

I absolutely can't more high regards to the team at VA Tire & Auto of Broadlands! Each time I take my vehicle there, I am constantly impressed with the professionalism and transparency. The price points also aren't too bad compared to other shops and I end up saving more money with high quality service!

Didn't like:
1. long wait; was told it would be 1 1/2 hours, but it was 2 hours. Both are (obviously) longer than I would like.
2. Coffee was provided, but no hot water for tea.
Liked: didn't have to wait in car; waiting area was relatively comfortable (except for one chair which was sagging-- fortunately another was unoccupied).

I had to reschedule my appointment from last Wednesday this Wednesday due to the air compressor going down. I did wait about three hours before I decided it wasn't gonna get fixed that day or within a reasonable timeframe, but they did make it right give me discount on the oil change and tire rotation. And they also got me out of there in a pretty decent timeframe.

Had state safety inspection done. They failed me but did not tell me I did not pass.
On the way home I saw the "Rejected" sticker on the windshield. Had to go back to find out what the problem was.
Then they told me my windshield wiper blade need replaced and come back for inspection again.
" Unbeliebable" !!

I switched to Broadlands from the Ashburn location. Ethan was very helpful. It is still on the expensive side but they are helpful and seem more transparent with your auto needs.

Service was good but a bit expensive. I came in thinking I was only in for an oil change and tire rotation which would have cost around $120 but instead it got charged $650 with the additional maintenance (spark plugs replacement and induction system.

I arrived 20 minutes before opening and was third in line. When the shop opened, the service clerk said that my state-mandated emissions test might take 45 minutes to an hour. In reality, the test was complete and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes.

Virginia Tire often misleads customers to make unnecessary repairs when the fix is just simple...they failed my inspection saying that there was a leak in the suspension and needed to be fixed for $800...I went to another station and they said that there was no leak, only needed to be cleaned...$40 and inspection passed...

I was advised of the approximate wait. They called me to let me know the car was ready for pickup earlier than expected. I have been going to this store since they opened. There have been some occasional growing pains, but overall, they have been a good store that I continue to patronize.

VA Tire recommends change of tires...went to another inspection station and their opinion is that the tires are good for another year...checking my records, my tires were worn only 25K miles and they are made to last 50K miles...double check before you accept VA Tire recommendation to change tires...they rip you off!!!

I asked them to check the extra tire under the car and fill it with air when they rotated all my tires. They said they did that and all is good. That was a false statement....the tire light is still in which means they never checked that tire. Its a simple thing to do and they should have done it. They have no problem listing 20 things for me to improve on my car....but they cant add air to the spare tire??
