The truck had an " Engine Fault Lite " come on. The Temp. gage wasn't reading anything. The fan kept running long after the truck was shut off. Then with the fan running, it damaged the battery. They were able to squeeze me in to do the repair. It took two days to do the repair, but I wasn't without the truck for long.

The truck was there over a month and we could never get a straight answer on what was wrong or what they were doing. my daughter, granddaughter and i all got diifferent stories on what was happening to the vehicle. GM called to get answers and were told the vehicle wasn't there.

They found the reason the "check engine light" was showing, told us what it would be to fix it and did so in a reasonable time. At the same time, they noticed we had a light out, informed us of this and we suggested they replace both lights at the same time as they had never been changed. All was done while I waited.

Everything was corrected. At first, the service manager got my car mixed up with someone else's, but this was cleared up when I came in to the service department the next day. What a relief! I didn't need a new battery, sensors, or oil, since that crankcase was supposedly empty! We shook hands and laughed about it. An easy mistake and good news for me. Richard Pape

Terrible service. Had appointment for Tuesday. Dropped it off Monday night. No call Tuesday so I called them and was told they hadnt gotten it in yet and they might get to it Friday. Called them Friday afternoon and was told they still havent looked at it, maybe Monday. I went down and got it took it some place else.

I was experiencing a problem with my car not recognizing that it had been shifted into Park. This causes some other problems with the warning chime not silencing and inability to lock the car. I called Van Bortels and was given an appointment early the next day. The car was taken in right away and repaired in a reasonable time. I always get great service there and recommend them to others.

Between Glen and the Corvette techs, they went out of there way so we could take our 2007 Corvette on vacation down to see my son and his wife in Mississippi. I have never had any auto service center help me as much as these guys at Van Bortel.

Your system is completely inaccurate. I've owned 3 Chevrolets during the period Dec. 2012 to present (9/19). The 2011 Malibu was traded in earlier this year; the 2015 Impala was purchased in Nov. 2017 and was traded in Feb this year. I now own only one Chevrolet, a 2017 Malibu Premier which was just serviced yesterday! Correct your records please.

The mechanical work and inspection was OK but the cost was excessive. To inspect the vehicle, replace one fuse and 4 screws that I provided was almost $200. Others should look for other service prov iders or at the very least have a very detailed cost before any work is done.
