I've been to many Valvolines and I didn't appreciate the technician getting into my car and opening my glove box to push an air filter sale. This shop needs better management and communication.

Very good. I did not need any service primarliy becouse at my age I do not drive many miles in any quarter of the year. But the employes checked major points that needed no service and suggested I comeback when I put on a few more miles.T here was no charge and caring attention.

They did a good job at a fair price and they were fairly quick. My only complaint was that they pushed me to buy a new air filter when the one that I had was fairly new. They were trying to tell me it was extremely dirty when you could Easily see light pass through it so I believe they have a policy to always try to sell an air filter no matter what condition the current one is in.

The job was completed, for the most part...but 2 of my stem caps are missing now (not plain black ones either) and the FREE Battery check I was suppose to have as a part of the coupon I received, was not done according to my final invoice. I normally get pretty good service, but this time just wasn't up to par, and the missing stem caps is very disappointing.

I like the service I get from the shop and feel they do a thorough job and are generally priced competitively. One small thing I wish Valvoline would change, however, is to allow me to determine my own reminder sticker frequency and mileage. I use synthetic oil and want it changed every 6 months or 60,000 miles. The old 3 mo./30k mile rule of thumb doesn't really apply any more and it's a little annoying you won't allow techs to set the terms of my own reminder.
