Took my car to the dealer for routine maintenance. They recommended 1800 worth of repairs with some being "critical". Took it to Traywicks for a second opinion since they have done some work on my daughters car, always fairly priced and honest. Needless to say unnecessary repairs were being recommended and I left their shop paying less than $100 (which was less than the estimate they gave for assessment).

The folks at Traywicks Garage never let you down. Their expertise extends to all makes and models and their repairs are non pareil. they also warranty their work for 12 months or 12,000 miles. Their are friendly, knowledgeable and thorough in their approach to your car. I cannot speak highly enough about my continued relationship with them.

Hi Mr. Cobb. We attempted to privately contact you 5 days ago by email to resolve your complaint, however, we were unsuccessful in receiving a response. I will copy our email response below. Unfortunately, I can not attach the poor tire condition photos here.
Thank you for sharing your 2 star feedback with us. We are truly sorry that your visit didn't reflect the family friendly service that we are well known for. This definitely is not our intention and we would love to improve on that.
We always aim to be thorough in our inspections, yet we understand that the wait time and how recommendations are presented matter. I can see that you arrived for your scheduled appointment nearly 30 minutes early, which means at that time the lift was occupied by a previous appointment. If our staff did not address that this may cause a bit of an added wait, we will use this as a teachable moment for the future.
We also performed a thorough battery diagnostic along with the oil change and tire rotation. We did still manage to get you in and out in less than 2 hours which is realistic for those 3 services combined.
According to the detailed inspection report the tires still had good tread but were noted as being dry cracked on the side wall. I have taken a look at the report and confirmed it was sent and viewed by you in our system. I attached those photos below for your viewing in case it was missed. While we do take pride in being thorough we do not want to come off as being pushy. However, it is our job to note these types of unsafe conditions for our own protection.
It is unfortunate that you feel you were being squeezed for a new set of tires considering the condition of the tires and the fact that our business did not charge you for either the tire rotation or diagnostic. You were only charged for the oil change.

Traywick's is the best mechanic I've ever had in 30 years of driving. Super nice staff, incredibly fair prices. They took on a couple really messy issues my old car had including re-wiring the starter because the existing wire had started to crumble after 15 years. I could not be happier and recommend Traywick's to everyone I know.

my wife and daughter were in Orlando visiting, and the care broke down. they brought it in to check it out, quoted over $1200 for a complete front end replacement. said no and went to the dealer. it was a bad sway bar link. total bill, less than $100.00. don't even think about stopping here.

Hello Mr. Perry, we are sorry to see this review. Your daughter brought in a 2011 Escape initially requesting an alignment. The diagnostic provided was for front end repairs needed in order to properly complete the alignment and most importantly provide your daughter with a safe vehicle.
We fully stand behind our estimate and we did not charge her anything, even though our hard working staff took an hour and a half of their time to thoroughly perform this inspection. Good luck and take care!

The process to diagnose your vehicle required over an hour and a half of technician time and equipment use. We explained that if you chose to proceed with the repairs and leave the vehicle with us, the diagnostic fee would be waived and applied towards the repair cost. This is also clearly stated on your estimate. However, since the vehicle was picked up before any repairs were authorized, the diagnostic charge remained applicable.
