They were communicative and thorough which was great.
They were installing and using new repair shop software and procedure systems so there were some check in delays but understandable.
The cost for just a standard 30k service seemed high at over $2,100 but they provided lyft transportation and a small but kind rebate.

The Berkeley Toyota Service Department is the best I have worked. Great communication and follow up. Service department had to coordinate with insurance company and they did. In this case with parts in inventory, catalectic converter, repairs were done quickly. Cost was the only negative. This was an expensive repair.

I did not like the surprise 3% additional credit card processing fee added on at the moment of payment as an extra charge. Borderline illegal? I was not informed ahead of time, before the work, about it and it seemed wrong. I'm considering taking my business elsewhere.

Service writer was poor - The Mechanic I assume was good
1 - I was told that a pan under the cars was cracked and needing to be replaced. The Service writer did NOT know the cost.
2-I asked for my key FOB to be tested and I only got lip service.
3-The rear Wiper blade is badly torn, completely missed

The service technician, Su, recommended and explained the scope of the service for all components. The video inspection was broadcast 90 minutes after entry and the overall service was completed on time and within estimate.

Fast and efficient. Joes Tires was able to fix (plug) the tire rather than replacing it. Cost was minimal.

Great service provided by the shop. Customer service was excellent, completed necessary warranty documentation. Friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend Joe's Tire a service shop affilitated with Toyota of Berkeley.

When I made the service appointment I was told the exact price of the repair in advance. When I brought an intact fragment of my shattered side mirror the service advisor used it and subtracted $80 that had been quoted for the part.
