Sometimes it's really hard to find not only a good mechanic, but an honest mechanic. These people are great. I can't complain. They tell me when something needs to be fixed and they tell me when it can wait instead of oh no now all you have to do it all now now now now now now.

It was a small problem, the left turn signal socket went bad, but Mark remembered to order the replacement part after replacing the bulb. I had completely forgotten about it until he called to remind me to come in. It took all of five minutes and I am so grateful he remembered!

We appreciate Mark's honesty and thoroughness. The "check fuel cap" light came on in our Mustang, and after extensive testing, Mark determined that it was the fuel cap itself that was the issue. It was a simple replacement but he tested the cap several times to make sure that the problem was resolved. He didn't try to upsell us or convince us to have work done that wasn't necessary.

Mark and his mechanics always take such care with our car. They check everything, always searching for potential future issues. This oil change they found a burned out back up light and replaced it. They also advised us to have the transmission fluid changed in the next cycle, when our budget could handle the extra charge. Great mechanics!

The gas pedal was sticking, making it hard to keep a consistent driving speed. Mark and crew found out that the throttle body was dirty, then proceeded to check out everything involved in acceleration. Now we can drive smoothly again! Our GT is very happy to zoom again!

Mark always takes such great care of our Mustang. He checks the entire car to make sure everything is in top shape. This oil change, he found that the battery is getting weak and not holding a charge as it should. We will be getting a new Motorcraft battery in a few weeks, thanks to his diligence.

Mark knows our F 150 Lightning very well, so he doesn't try to sell us on something we don't need or want to keep our truck running smoothly. He worked on our rear drum brakes this time, which are original to this 1993 truck, and determined that the pads and drums were fine but that there was a leak in the master cylinder. He didn't try to sell us on new brakes or cylinder, just fixed the problem. Great mechanic and honest!

Mark and crew at The Car Shop always take good care of our vehicles, particularly our all-original 1993 F-150 Lightning. They made sure the truck was as clean leaving the shop as it was coming in...my husband is a clean fanatic. They were also able to take care of a problem with the windshield wiper reservoir that meant taking off the cowl and finding replacement parts...not an easy task for a 1993 truck.
