I felt my brakes needed looking at after they display a shimmy on braking and a loud clunk on braking. Apparently a foreign object had gotten in and the clunk was it leaving. They found a mark on the one surface, but determined the brakes were ok and had considerable life left. $105 covered their diagnostic services.

This was an incredible experience. Had my 2015 Sorento towed there on a Monday because the engine was knocking. They submitted the information to Kia and a decision was made on Tuesday to have the engine replaced via recall/warranty. They offered a rental but I declined. They had the car back to me in a couple days. I really felt like they were advocating for me with Kia Corporate. Cindy and Nichole were both amazing to deal with.

The service is always great but it is next to impossible to get an appointment. I have had 3 Kias all purchased at Suntrup but think I may have to go to another make of vehicle for the next car. It is not great to have a vehicle that you can never get serviced, especially when the warranty requires service and even oil changes at the dealership.

Took care of 1 recall very quickly. Temporarily fixed a secondary issue of the outside trim coming unglued. They are awaiting a fix from the manufacturer to address the issue.

Check engine light came on on trip; limped it home and had it checked out. 6th cylinder fuel injector had gone intermittent. It took several days to get the part, but it was replaced without a problem. It was not cheap, and cost about 2 monthly car payments, so cheaper than leaving a great car behind.

I had a good experience at Suntrup. I went in for a tire rotation. It turned out my appt was scheduled for the day before and was a no show. Sorry. They were kind enough to service my car anyway. I arrived early for my 9:00 am appointment to get new tires, 4 wheel alignment and oil change. My vehicle was not ready for delivery until 6:20pm (9 hrs 20 minutes later). The service department closed at 6:00 pm. I was not properly notified of the progress of the work being done and no apology was given.

These days, good service is no longer the norm. However, Suntrup Kia Service offers professional and customer centric service, the type of service a consumer should expect and receive. I drive about 20-miles further than the closest Kia Dealer but the extra miles are worth it.
