Very scammy and suspicious behavior by service advisor to try to bait me to pay a diagnostic fee that I did not consent to, since the car was inspected under warranty. They tried to persuade me to sign for an abnormally high prices (even for a dealer) for just an alignment, nearly $5k.

It was a productive trip to BMW. Came in for a simple oil change. But now I have a service needed light on the display! So now I have to go back to see what the message means. It only came on after they serviced my car! All in all, it was a good trip for an oil change.

They tore apart my dash cam charger and kept it inside the charging port. This created a short and fuse blown off. Service advisor was helpful and rescheduled me to fix it but I don't wanted to waste my 2-3 hours driving there and waiting for loaner. I changed the fuse my self

mad about the service department sta steven creek san jose doing business:
1)overpriced. asked price ~$ to install retrofit running board to my BMW x7 (2021)
2)when i came to the scheduled appoinment to install running baord, they asked $1338 more for painting, which i was never told.
3) cancelled the service for nothing ..wasted my precious time and travels

Service was efficient, I dropped my car off the night before to have them evaluate warning lights and for a recall. They proactively communicated the status and completed everything in warranty. The only hiccup was when I cam to pick up the car it took a while for it to be ready for me to take it.

The service was great. I understand that the day I got my car serviced was really busy, and the loaner car availability was tight. I had to wait for the next available loaner car about 45 mins. The staff at loaner car department was defensive and rude when asked by several people to find out the availability status.

I took the car in because I thought there was an oil leak coming from the filter area. The mechanic took me to the service bay and showed me exactly where the leak was developing (both valves cover gaskets). He suggested that he will observe whether the leak gets worse.

Poor communication several times as to when car would be ready. There was a damaged belt that resulted in pieces going into the oil pan when diagnosing a problem. Was it belt fatigue or did the technician make a problem? Not sure to me. All repairs recommended where very expensive. I brought the car in here for a recall and had them look at a few other items when the troubles begn.

The tech Elyas was good at keeping me informed everything to be done. Oy thing I did not like was my vehicle was returned back to me dirty when in the service they stated they washed and cleaned the car. Somehow that was skipped. Maybe because I went at a late time. I dont know.

I paid extra for warranty insurance. Not sure because of tarrifs my windshield got a crack from a rock on freeway 101. And I am unable to get replace/repair. Frustrated. Call car insurance, the cover partial. Upset of paid more money to protect your ca and when tariffs occurred suddenly everything was change in 1 day.
