Vehicle broke down. Called with what the issue was and was told 2x by finance that it would be warranty covered. Get vehicle towed and got a text wanting 1200 for a waterpump and thermostat replacement. Come to find out it wasn't covered. They offered to lower it to 800. Lied to my face and said I was told they had to see it first. Granted I told them several times what the issue was.

I apologize that information was not relayed to you correctly. I reviewed the phone calls that were made to us. Unfortunately, until we have the vehicle here, we do not know what parts will need to be replaced or what needs to be repaired. Unfortunately these specific parts are not covered under the warranty that was purchased.

Too long of a wait(1 1/2 hrs) for them to tell me the replacement part (battery tray) was too small for the battery I had unless I wanted to buy a new battery...which I did not because the one I have is only a year and a half old and still good. A waste of my time. So much for free fixes on recalls.

I apologize you did not have a good experience with our Service Department. Unfortunately, the recalls are handled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The recall is based off of the original battery that was installed at the factory. We have had several customers with the same issue and have notified Toyota of the concerns. If there are any changes to this recall we will notify you directly.

Ask to have belt or idler squeak fixed for the third time but they couldn't figure it out. Found out this is a common problem with tacomas. They make heavy duty idlers to correct.

checked tires before service and all were low, after service checked tires and all were low, r/r tire was 27 psi and was still 27 psi. inspection form said all tires were at 35 psi, box for tire rotation was not checked but service advisor said tires were rotated.

I took my vehicle in for a routine maintenance and to have them take a look a two unusual issues. One was my seat belt was not retracting and the control panel on the drivers door was broken ( structural not electrical ). They fixed those problems with no charge which I really appreciated. Michele is amazing at her job ( service writer? ) Everyone I deal with there is courteous and professional.

Dealership provided service according to the Toyota Corporate policies. Not listed is the individual oil change completed at 5,600mi. 10k miles is too long to keep longevity of any product using an internal combustion engine. otherwise, no issues, so far.

Thank you for taking the time to rate your experience with us. Yes, your vehicle does have a maintenance schedule of 5,000 miles for rotation and 10,000 miles for oil change. Toyota has been doing this since 2012 on almost every model and we have not had any issues. If you would like your oil changed every 5,000 miles we will do that for you, you would just need to pay for the cost of that. The 2 year/25,000 free maintenance only covers what is recommended for the vehicle in question.

Staff were friendly and accommodating! My service took longer than anticipated and they kindly set me up with an overnight vehicle and then returned my vehicle to me the next day! Unfortunately, they had forgotten to repair something that I asked for to 3 different people and my driver side seat and floor was obviously quite dirty when dropped off. Overall satisfied and will return.

Car was not charging according to scheduled charging schedule. Mechanic at Shottenkirk Toyota ran a complete diagnostic on the car, figured out the problem, and fixed it. He also told me that the diagnostic showed that everything with the car was good.
