I've been taking my car here for years. They have always done amazing work. Prices are a bit high (hence 4 stars), but they are friendly, fast and honest. I have recommended them to many of my friends and family over the years. They work on both foreign and domestic cars, which came in handy with my husband's car.

Shelby Auto Repair (now called Car-Aid Shelby) did an excellent job servicing my vehicle. I purchased in advance all the OEM parts, and they completed a front brake job (rotors, pads and pins), rear brake job (rotors, pads and pins), tire rotation and oil change. Their labor charges were very reasonable. This is a great place to get your vehicle serviced.

Shelby Auto Repair is now named Car-Aid. I had a check engine light that was on and my Ford Escape was hard to start after filling up the gas tank. An EVAP purge valve solenoid needed to be replaced and vehicle runs smoothly and starts up easily after replacing the EVAP solenoid.

My wife's 2018 Ford Escape engine hydrolocked because of 1.5L Ecoboost engine coolant intrusion issue that Ford Motor Company is well aware of. Had vehicle towed to Shelby Auto Repair and they ordered an engine and installed it within a week. Engine runs very well and they provide a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty on the replacement engine. Would recommend this service facility for you car or truck needs.

I really, Liked the front counter crew, ( as I chose to stay during the servicing of my vehicle and wait. I got quite a bit of time to get the full experience.) Josh, who was very chatty, and seemingly in positive spirits, I thought was cool? However, After having my truck serviced, something was still rattling. I brought it back. They did look at it again, test drove it, But insisted that there work had been done properly, and was perfectly fine. At this time I requested that Josh personally accompany me. "Will you go in the truck and take a short ride with me To listen for what I could hear, that his guy could not hear by himself?". His response, in an aggressive manner, and raised voice, Threw his hands in the air, and told me " I have to wash my hands of it, and have no more time or responsibility" i didn't really act in any way other than a calm collected, ( surprised look) and then a meek voice, just insisted I hear something. I was then told it was probably a problem with my brand new tires or anything else, that might be wrong, I had to wait, (wait) to see if the problem got worse before it could be diagnosed. I waited several days before returning an additional text, requesting for yet another visit, and again request that somebody go for a ride with me, so I could help his service man, to identify the rattle that I heard. They obliged me. When we return from the test drive, his service tec, ( the same tec who identified all the issues with my vehicle, during the initial inspection, Did all the work, and test drove my vehicle by himself to try and identify the rattle but could not.) started tapping on the front parts of my truck, trying to find rattles that might be related to anything other than the work they had performed. Even wedging Styrofoam in cracks between my head lamps, and body parts, using tape.
Then another test drive.
Yup, you probably guess it, still a rattle. So back up on the lift it went. And the same man who inspected my truck, identified any and all things, including my brakes and rotors , and even finding an additional very expensive replacement, of one of my front drive shafts, ( which I'm concerned that it's not properly done?) Has found its not his fault in the work he did, its a bad part, there was a linkage problem with the sway bar part they had used on my vehicle, (the part, not the install of the part). To have to go through this, and waste my time, (Just so you all know, i live over a hour away from this place.) And I not to be offered compensation for their failures, denial of anything initially, rude and slightly confrontational responses. I can't recommend this business from my experience, Or the parts that they used, especially when I was adamant about using quality, Good parts. Also, my new shocks are far stiffer, and not as comfortable as the ones that were original to my vehicle. My breaks squeal ( intermittently) and they never did before. And I did not want to replace the brakes Initially anyways, (they insisted it was ready). It was a might bit insulting. Nearly $ 5,000.00 of work, For six hours of work. 4 visits later. Humm... You all keeping up? That's 8 hours + of my time. My time is worth as much, and more to me than there time, they got paid more in a day, than most do in a month. Just insulting.....
