In June I purchased 4 new tires at a cost of over $500. Last week I noticed a nail in one of the tires. Took it to Pep boys for a plug. They insisted it couldn't be plugged and had to buy a new one. I wanted the old tire. New tire $140.00. When I inspected the tire I noticed the nail had not penetrated through. Total scam!!! Will never buy there again

Staff was very pleasant & informative. Everything was explained (including photos of dry rot on my tires that would eventually pose a problem). It was a very busy day and they were able to fit my car in and worked in a timely fashion. I will definitely recommend Pep Boys!

I asked for an inspection of a recently purchased car, they told me the tires looked good. Wow! I could tell that with a coin and 1 minute. They did not charge me and I paid to much. Wasted time making and keeping the appointment. No PA state inspection available. Why? Don't know. They do not have certification.
