Well, this shows that Pep Boys fixed my tire which they didn't because it had a nail in it, but they did put on my spare/donut tire because they didn't have a tire my size in their store and they couldn't order it either. They were very nice there and they were very thorough and telling me what the problem was etc. but they did not repair my tire.

We love Pep Boys. My husband is an auto technician, so he replaced our shocks, struts and rear brakes himself. The next day he took it to Pep Boys to perform the alignment service. It says a lot about a shop if an auto technician takes his car there for something he can't do at home.

Had appointment to check chattering of brakes. Had the same problem with the front wheels and was corrected by installing new brake shoes and servicing front end. Solved the problem. All four wheels were removed and the entire brake system was inspected.

They charged me 493.00 and said the problem was just a battery, when in fact it wasn't, as the problem never resolved even next day.
Took it elsewhere and I needed spark plugs and brakes.

Waited almost 3 hours for an alignment. Had new tires and an alignment 3 weeks prior. Steering wheel was shaking. When I called to ask for another alignment they told me to replace the tie-rods and they'd do another for free. I replaced the tie rods, brought the car in, was charged $100 for the alignment. Felt even worse for guy who was there an hour before me for a flat tire.

I waited two hours for a tire rotation WITH a pre-scheduled appointment. There was no obvious reason for the delay. My first tire rotation was just as bad with my initial appointment being canceled after I showed up because they were too far behind for the day. A simple phone call to reschedule would have been appropriate.
