Oil change and inspection was good. The last oil change at Take 5 oil on Sterling Av in Peoria forgot to tighten the oil filter which caused me to lose 2 quarts of oil. Midas diagnosed the problem and cleaned up the undercarriage area. I have a good relationship with this Midas location and will return.

Went in for assistance in determine why my car was leaking radiator coolant. I left in "awe and shock". The prices quoted for the repair were unheard of. Estimated cost to replace my radiator, to include a new radiator cap and fluid was well over $1500.
No thank you. Midas can find someone else to fleece.

The prices are a little on the high side, but I've always been treated with honesty and respect at this shop. I don't ever feel they're trying to sell me on something I don't need. And I feel a big positive difference in the car whenever I leave. So, despite high prices, I feel like my vehicle is being well taken care of--a good trade-off.

These guys always go above and beyond. As a woman, it's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, but after several visits for routine maintenance as well as some mechanical problems, I trust Ken whole heartedly. The guys at this Midas location are honest, reliable and respectful. My father in law is a mechanic, but he recently retired and my car still needs a ton of maintenance. Nick and another mechanic made time to inspect my car and then help me prioritize and budget repairs with separate quotes. It was apparent to me from my first visit that Ken and his team really care about their customers and they continue to prove that again and again.

They were dishonest and lied to me about fixing my car. After leaving Midas, I got maybe less than a mile and my car stopped. I didn't even make it home. I was stranded in the snow, cold, and darkness. It was the same problem that it had when I had it towed there. Therefore, they did not fix my car. It costed over $500. I am hurt and disappointed.

AutoZone performed the prior oil change and apparently put the plug in incorrectly so when Midas tried to remove the plug the threads were ruined. I should have stopped the oil change and got some expert opinion about how best to remedy the situation which may have reduced the ultimate cost but did not have the alternatives presented before authorizing the removal (by brute force) of the plug.
