When I arrived there was a very strong odor. I looked around and what looked like a glade plug in near the door plugged into the wall. I asked if it could be unplugged while I was there. The guy behind the counter could not or would not give me a straight answer why it could not be unplugged. It was making me very sick to my stomach it was so strong. I am glad that it was not very cold or rainy out because I went outside to sit. I walked back in close to the time my car was supposed to be finished. Again I asked him he said no. I told him that the smell can cause people to have migraines, or seizures (I work with people who have disabilities and I Know a few things) sometimes it can cause behaviors. He was like no one has ever complained about the smell. I was like ok good for you. The customer is supposed to always be right.
Then to make matters worse. I was ONLY there because my normal shop could not get me in to get my oil changed. I always get high mileage oil for my car. My regular place charges me $57.00 oil filter ect. Midas charged me over $93.00. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER!!!!! tell anyone to go there. They did nothing special above and beyond what my normal place does. And when I asked the guy who did the oil change a normal question (did you notice anything that needed to be fixed right away) he said no. But as I kept asking questions, he said maybe your battery. They do not seem competant.
So again, I WILL NEVER EVER EVER tell anyone to go there just the opposite. If someone asks me I will tell them to stay as far away from Midas as they can. For those reasons. Overpriced ect. Was not happy with them at all.
Poor service, HORRIBLE PRICES staff not up to par. The reason I could not wait for my normal place is I had to drive to Ann Arbor today and the car needed the oil changed. Get better staff and lower prices. Give me some of my money back. Or all of it. That would be better.
