My second visit to Meineke and I am impressed again. The rattling noise was identified. They replaced the pin that hold the brake pads and the noise is no longer. Prior to, I had taken the car to the dealer, twice but they were unable to correct the problem. Meineke is a trusted and honest auto shop. They charge me only $41.
I recommend Meineke to anyone. You will NOT be disappointed.

They we efficient. Quick to diagnose the problem, quick to service the car. They did not "push sell" anything. The priority problem was rear brake. I agreed to the proposed service at a quarter to four in the afternoon; they got the parts (rotors,pads, etc. the whole assembly), did the work, and I picked up the car at 6:00 p.m. Done.

Sorry to say that I did not have a good experience.
- I had full brake job done at Bolingbrook Meineke and in a month the break is wobbly
- i replaced an alternator & battery just couple of weeks a ago and I see a battery light popping up while driving

I've used this Meineke location for many years now, for both of our vehicles They've always been good with getting the work done in a quick and timely manner. And their prices are fair and competitive.
The woman named Maggie, who is basically running this shop, is very good with details, and in following up on her promises. The service she provides is exceptional, as she's a big asset to this location.

I had Meineke validate that the breaks were okay because I bought this car used and did not see much of a break history on Carfax. They validated the breaks were in good shape and sent me on my way. I am so use to coming into other places for break checks and leaving with a full break job.

Have been taking my vehicles to this MEINEKE in BOLINGBROOK for years & keep coming back due to their honesty & genuine caring about good service for the customer! Maggie is the best! She always explains what's wrong & shows you the bad parts. As a woman, I've been to plenty of places where I've been cheated so I REALLY value honest car repair when I find it!!! When it's only a screw that's fallen out but makes it sound REALLY bad & they could easily have lied to me telling me it was something serious, they DIDN'T!!! So I really trust these people & have recommended them many times!!!

very bad At the beginning, I told them that my car exhaust system has some noise. After they check, they told me that the gaskets in exhaust system are bad, and charged me $570 to replace the gaskets. After this repair, I still hear the exhaust system noise. I thought that it may just repaired, and needs to wait for a few weeks to get of the noise. After a few weeks, the noise is still there, and I sent the car back to this shop to recheck. Then they found the soft tube is leaking, and will charge me more than $900 again. I told them this noise is there after they changed the gaskets, but they blame me waited for a few weeks to send back this car (I specifically asked them how long is the warranty, and they told me the warranty is one year.). The soft tube leaking was the original issue, but they did not find it, and lied to me that the gaskets were bad, and charged me $570. I am not trust this shop anymore.
