Spent $156 to fix A/C. Returned a week later and they confirmed there were no leaks. Four weeks later A/C was out of freon. Another $180. Now, 2 days later the A/C is still not working properly. I'll take it somewhere else.
They did do a very thorough inspection of the vehicle for $125. That was well worth the cost.

We brought a used vehicle we had just bought in for an inspection, and them came back for service. The inspection was quick and very thorough. They found an issue with the oil cooler housing that was causing oil to leak out into a deep crevice on top of the engine that the dealership had missed in their own inspection. The kap inspection came with pictures and estimates for addressing each identified issue in a web interface and pdf form. The dealer had given us a warranty and KAP were master certified mechanics so they were able to work with the vehicle warranty company to investigate if this was covered. While they were replacing the failed oil cooler housing they identified that the spark plugs would need to be replaced in the near future and were able to address them while the engine was opened up saving several hundred dollars in labor and parts between the two jobs. They got the work done quicker than expected and they gave us a discount for paying with check verses credit card.
We have a new favorite mechanic here in East Knox!

Great service on my wife's Mazda CX7. I took it there for rear hub bearings and an O2 Sensor. I stopped by on a Wednesday and discussed the service and setup an appt. On the following Friday at 9am. Lucas had already ordered the rear hub bearings and started work promptly. He did a pre-road test; and started a complete service inspection with a detailed list with pictures; he recommended some additional service for rear brakes and rotors. Some other things were noted but not urgent. My service visit was completed by 1pm. I was well pleased with the service and will definitely go back. It's a small shop with 2 master mechanics on duty....the owner Nick and Lucas.
