King Honda in Opelika demonstrated true customer service. The employees cared about me and respected my time. I arrived a bit early for my appointment and was leaving 5min after my scheduled appointment. This was very much appreciated after my experience with the dealership which I purchased my car froms service department. Thank you for the great experience.

Was quoted one price for a starter replacement ($1200) and was also informed of a student discount but when I went to pay they charged $1800 minus the student discount of $300 for a total of $1500+. Communication from service advisor(s) is poor and was informed they are understaffed.

Service was great, the employees were very friendly, the waiting area was comfortable, and the added car wash and vacuum was an added bonus. I will use King Honda for my maintenance and plan to schedule another wash and vacuum soon.

On 8/21, the gear shift was locked on my 2023 Accord Hybrid, and there were multiple system warnings. I called a tow operator, an he was able to release the shifter and charge the battery as he felt the problem was due to low voltage. I called King Honda, in Opelika, and drove my car there. The Service Department Manager indicated that the car had to put on a "Honda machine" to analyze the batteries and charge where needed. He indicated this would take two hours, and, it had to be done in order to comply with the warranty. Approximately 5 hours later, and after the service department had closed, the manager informed me that the analysis was done, and my cat batteries were "like new", and there was no need to replace anything under the warranty. He seemed to be in a hurry to leave and, I was not provided any paperwork. Two days later, the same thing happened and my car was again inoperable. I was in another city, and was able to get my vehicle to a different dealership - Brannon Honda. The ran a quick test and found that the primary battery clearly needed to be replaced. They also said that it was ridiculous that King had not replaced the battery(under warranty) initially. This cost me a hotel room and a tow fee. NOTE: other than the manager, the other people in Service at King were nice and apologetic.
