I was very confused. I was told that the oil consumption test would consist of bringing my car in at 1000 intervals for either two or three times. Upon completion of the first 1000, I was told "Ok you are down half a quart, your oil consumption test is complete." I said that was not what I was told. I was then instructed to contact Kia again and start the process over. I am convinced that the 2020 Kia Souls have issues with oil burning and with the piston O rings. I drove from Ohio to DC and back (approx 600 miles) and it burned almost 2 quarts of oil. They said the 1000 mile test only burned a half a quart. Something is definitely not right. This is my second car purchase from the dealership.
