Service was excellent I did not like not being informed that there is a charge when you pay using a card, that is pretty low in my opinion. You are already making money on the service being performed and then you put an extra charge on the bill. That is bs.

The repair was good - the car no longer leaks oil from the front engine cover. The communication to me from the service department could have been better. My car was in the shop for two weeks for this repair and for much of that time I was wondering what had become of my car. I would have appreciated better communication. Having said that, I still like John Heister Chevrolet and am pleased with my car and the dealership.

He quoted me a payment then when signing paperwork he said he was able to get Warranty, gap, tire and wheel at the same payment quoted. My payment would have been less if hadn't bought all the add on.

The service advisors were very unfriendly. My car was sitting outside for twenty minutes I asked 4 different advisers if it was finished they all told me the same thing that my paperwork had to be printed out. Also my info center screen had greasy finger prints all over the screen. I will have to think about bringing my vehicle back for service.

Likely never to return to Heister Chevrolet. Had a tire "cupping" issue that three other tire shops acknowledged and Heister claimed tire was fine. Alignment was the issue causing the cupping and has since been corrected by a capable shop and new tires installed. Can't understand how I could visually see the cupping yet Heister personnel denied there was an issue.

It took them 4 days to repair and they did not have a loaner vehicle available. The communication was lacking on their part, never calling when they said they would. I had to call multiple times for updates. I brought the car in to fix an issue and it is still not fixed. It is currently in the shop again, for the same issue. It has been in there since Tuesday. Again, no loaner car and no communication from them.

I always received good service but I recently had an oil change and I was told I had a oil leak and they would diagnose it for 95:00, it has been a couple weeks and I haven't seen a drop of oil on the concrete drive, I feel that they were trying to charge me for something that I didn't need, I've been a customer at John Hiester since they opened in Fuquay and always received good service until the last visit.

The young guys you'll have working in the shop my opinion I don't think they are that well trained my husband had problems with them not doing what was asked of them to do he was up there over a week ago had appointment stayed there for 3hours he was getting oil change and the plug change I don't think they did it because oil is dripping on our driveway inexcusable.

Today 7/15/2025 was my 3rd visit for the noise, rattling problem. Some of it has been fixed but there are still noises coming from the passenger side and from the back when you go on bumpy road. I told the service advisor many times that there were multiple sources of the noise and not just the latch (which they fixed). I will call GM to find a proper solution.

I like that they are easy to work with. What I don't like is that they cleaned my fuel line at 19,000 miles. I believe that wasn't necessary. They called it a cleaning, but it was really a flush. If they had used that word, I would have declined because I don't agree with getting flushes. I'd recommend them, but I'd say to be cautious.
