Went in for a recall repair that is ongoing for a year. Made my appointment 10 days in advance to do this and an oil change. No one ordered the part needed for the repair. Waited 1.5 hours before I was told this. Don't buy a Jeep and certainly don't buy one from Machens Jeep in Columbia MO.

I had to have my jeep towed in late one evening because it wouldnt start, the mechanic called me at 8AM the next morning letting me know they were working on it & kept me informed. Car was done by next day. I loved the quick response & being kept in the loop on what they were finding. I get oil changes done here too - never a problem!

Did not like that you could not get ahold of anyone in the service department I called 6 times to try and get an appointment also they send you a text message when they have your vehicle and message state you can ask questions on it a again nobody answers when I went in and made as appointment I told the guy that I had left several message and he said we don't even know where that message goes we never get them

The guy that did my paperwork lied to me told me that my payment would be due 45 days after I signed my paperwork. When bank called they told me it was 30 days. This really set me back as they didn't take my car in trade in so I have 3 payments left on it.. I told him that was why I was glad when I was told I had 45 days.

I was there for 3 hours to get two batteries changed, which was what the appointment was for. After checking 2 times and 2 hours into appointment they communicated the battery still wasn't there. I was very frustrated. If they would have communicated that immediately I could have taken the shuttle to work, instead of wasting 3 hours for 2 batteries to be placed.

One tire required inflation along with oil change and tire rotation. The technician inflated the tire to 37# while the other 3 are 33-34#. Isn't 37 a little high? Also, It was late and I did not notice what appears to be a discrepancy in the cost of the service until I got home. It's not real convenient for me to return to the dealer about this charge.
