I liked that I made an appointment, and my Kia Sportage was taken in and the service performed in a timely manner. I also liked that our service man had a Kia multi-point inspection done on my Kia so I could see how much wear i had left on my tires and brakes!

Not enough personnel at the service desk to handle the customers had to wait too long took longer to do the job than I normally does Last time I had the car serviced it cost 3999 this time it was 9999 way too much money I can get it done in toccoa for 5999 and I don't have to spend an hour on the road to get down to you in an hour back entirely too it's too much money

It was fine. Customer service waiting area was pretty spartan, but I do understand they are building a new showroom and service center down the road. Hopefully they will improve the amenities in the new location. The Kia dealer in Athens offers bakery items and Keurig coffee maker with different kinds of coffee.

This was a routine service for some minor recall issues on my 2023 Niro HEV.
When I checked in at 9:15, I was told that my car would be ready in about 2 hours. At 11:15 someone from the service department came and told me it was finished. She even apologized that they couldn't wash the car because it was 27 degrees out.

I knew going in I would be there 3 hrs . Wasn't shown waiting area. I figured it out . Wasn't told where rest room was , I used employee only. I wasn kept updated on service processes. An at the end Wasn't told exactly why my check engine was on. Except it was updated. Poor customer service.

Some KIA dealerships have bad reputations for service. I had my 2023 Niro SX serviced at Jim Shorkey Kia of Gainesville for its 8,000, 16,000, and 24,000 mile services, plus a couple of recall TSBs. I have never had a problem with them. Good interaction with customers, fair prices.

Easy to schedule by phone or on-line. Service was completed within the timeframe they said it would be done. I was at 15,000 miles which meant air filter change but they recommended I could wait until the next change as the air filters were still fine.....who does that, normally service centers want to do as much work and get the most sales as possible! People were very nice and the facility was clean and comfortable.

I specifically mentioned I had a tire with low pressure. They claimed to have filled it and they didn't. They told me I needed to drive it for the warning to turn off. Turns out, they never inflated the tire so once I actually put air, the warning light turned off.

They took great care of my car and did the work in a timely manner. They are currently doing a total remodel of this facility and making plans to move to their new location which necessitated the waiting room to be moved to a smaller space behind the service desk. It was still quite adequate and comfortable, I highly recommend this dealership.

I didn't like Jack he had no idea why I was there. I made an appointment with him for a tuneup and he never put it in his notes and asked me if I brought the receipt from last time I was here which was a nightmare
