This review is for Shorkey Kia in N. Huntingdon. This location has been servicing my wife's car since 2020 because it is close to her work. Another local Kia dealer (owned by the same group!) gave me a wildly inflated quote (+$600) for a trailer hitch installation! This N.Huntingdon location was straight "book rate" on both parts and labor. It will be my new service provider even though it's 20 miles further away.

I liked the maintenance procedures performed by the technician and especially the video provided for my viewing. What I didn't like was the drive-up and check-in procedure, and the waiting room area. Everything was confusing . . . Buying my car was a lot more pleasant than bringing it in for service! Hurry up with the new construction of the service area!!

I am getting the run around on a know oil consumption issue. I have been dealing with this for over a year. Now you want me to pay $700 for a part that may or may not fix the problem. I asked to speak with a manger and was ignored. When I tried to explain to the service person that I already had a dye test a year ago. He stated how would I know that I've only worked here 6 months.

All of the employees I dealt with here, from my initial call to walking out the door, were very friendly and didn't make me feel rushed even though they were exceptionally busy. They also didn't make me feel like because I was a girl I'd have no clue what I'm talking about. Derek and Jon (I believe) really walked me through everything they did and I would definitely recommend them especially.
