I had been living in the Covinas for 7 1/2 years and never found a mechanic I kept as my go-to. I tried Hye Tech last week, and now I am a loyal customer, and will be as long as I live in the area. The guys who work there are extremely friendly to talk to, and the work was done well and quickly at a price lower than I would have expected. Good customer service, Bad diagnostic. Dropped off my 2014 Silverado It has a noise ( Rattle) coming from the bottom dash upper steering column. Was told over the phone it was my exhaust pipe. Had it replaced. $ 1,500 dlrs. Picked up truck and it still has the same problem.

Hi John, the reason we replaced the exhaust pipe assembly was due to a broken resonator, which was making noise. If you're willing, we would like to recheck the noise you're referring to at no charge to you. I would like to send a technician out on a road test with you so you can point out the noise to him. We are well known for our diagnostic skills around town and sometimes as cars / trucks get older, multiple things could cause similar noise. Honest as the day is long! I highly recommend Hye-Tech! You know you have an honest mechanic when they tell you You dont need half of the repairs that the other auto shop told you to have done. The truck runs great and they saved me a bunch of money. Im not taking my truck anywhere else again. Hands down, Hye-Tech is the best!
