I also had a service problem that I couldn't figure out on my F-150 & they trouble shot it & fixed the problem and it has not caused me any problems since. Very happy customer!

My transmission was doing the same thing as it had when you recalled it. I asked for a new ford part. Was told they had to used an after market part because ford didn't have a new one. Recently started having similier problems. Was told it was the clutch in the transmission. Paid $2600.00 + for the repair. The car failed within 60 miles. Then they replaced the part I asked them to chcek in the first place and it worke great now.

I thought I would treat my old truck and take it to whom I thought was was the experts. Did grease up the front end. Radiator was a little low on antifreeze. Check engine light was still on. It died on me twice the next day when I needed. I topped off the antifreeze and reset the computer. Now the check engine light is off,and it runs better. I should have kept the. 25 snapped ratchet for my time and expertise. But I did the right thing and brought it back. It's about respect. Some people have and some people don't.
