I couldnt ask for better service! My car had to be towed in, and they actually waited after closing til I got in, then checked my car in and gave me a ride home. They kept me informed of the status of my repair, and picked me up to go back to the shop and pick up my car. Now my car drives like new, but with 182,466 miles on it. Honest-1 just keeps it running for me!

Knowledgeable and friendly. Trustworthy (which is always important but especially when you're a woman getting your car fixed!); told me the price up front with a description of what would be done. Extra perk, the lady at the front desk was super sweet and playful with my baby boy :)

Excellent, professional service. Very thorough and they don't do unnecessary service (clean vs. replace, etc.). Debbie on the front desk used to have her own shop and is very knowledgeable about servicing cars. She taught me about the tread wear indicators on the tires. Sharp lady!

Felt like a bait and switch situation. I scheduled the service based in a flyer they sent me and they knew what my service request fans vehicle was and we discussed this when scheduling, only later for them to say the couple didnt really apply to my vehicle and I was charged more than double the agreed upon price for a basic oil change and tire rotation.

Good service, knowledgable counter people that don't try to sell you service you don't need, honest pricing that allows them to retain good talent. One of the two best auto care facilities I've used in San Diego (the other is closed now and only serviced VWs).

I am satisfied with the service at Honest-1 in San Carlos. My first experience with them was a simple Oil and Filte change, then some other minor maintenance, Cabin Filter, Air Filter etc..I have since moved to North County but because of there great customer service, I travel the 45 minutes to have my car serviced there. I plan to have my breaks serviced there in the near future as well.

You pay an honest price for honest work. I felt I could trust Julio and his team. Its a bit expensive but they do excellent work. The only reason they didnt get 5 stars is they were supposed to rotate my tires free of charge.
They forgot to rotate the tires but as I said before, it was a free service since all four tires were off. I shouldve asked before I left.

Service was fine. The only snag was that the service advisor said the time to replace a faulty sensor (tire monitoring) would be 45 minutes. After that time he told me they had to order the part and install same. The 45 minutes was for a diagnosis of the problem which I thought to be rather long. Total time spent waiting was close to 2 hours! In any case, I'm satisfied with the service performed.
