We had a super positive experience getting our son's car serviced at Honda of Columbia. They were able to take us as a walkin with no appointment. They were very nice and friendly. They completed the service quickly and let us know when it was ready. We had a pleasant conversation with the service department clerk when we checked out. We would definitely recommend Honda of Columbia.

Had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. 1 tire had a nail in it so they also repaired that. I still was waiting on the car for 3 hours. Seems scheduled service could have been better planned to reduce the customer waiting time. This service was supposed to be SCHEDULED, hence the less than 5 star rating.

After making appt, they called the morning off and tried to tell me they couldn't do the service that day after they had the car already. They finally did the service after making me feel like I was putting them out. But more importantly, the very next day, I had a dead battery and was left stranded at a gas station 350 miles from home. Did they not even test the battery at the 100k mile service that cost over $1700?

We're really sorry to hear about your frustrating experience, especially with the appointment and the subsequent battery issue. It's not okay that you were left stranded, and we understand how that must have felt. Your battery should have been tested as part of your services, and we use a battery tester that determines whether or not the battery is in need of replacement. The battery may have tested good on the previous day and failed the next (it can happen), but that certainly doesn't make your situation any less upsetting. We will investigate this further and get this to the Service Manager for review to ensure this doesn't happen again and he may contact you once he's had a chance to look into it. We're sorry this happened and for any inconveniences you encountered.

I brought my car in for an oil change. I had a noon time appointment scheduled for this. Two and a half hours later I find out that my car was ready but no one told me. A day after my car was serviced I noticed that the service engine icon alarm kept flickering on indicating that there was a problem. I called the service department and explained what was happening. I was told that the mechanic never reset the service engine alarm.

It sounds like our advisor dropped the ball in regards to informing you when your vehicle was finished and our technician should have reset your maintenance minder to clear out the maintenance reminder light. I signed up in advance for scheduled express service appointment. When I arrived, I was told that there were several cars in front of me and it would be about 1.5 hours. In reality, I was there for 3 hours for a routine oil change and inspection. I had a similar experience during my previous visit, though that time the wait was shorter (approximately 2 hours).

Having the free shuttle service was really awesome, especially as the vehicle maintenance was expected to take a good amount of time to complete. Also, being able to use maintenance specials from other Honda dealerships that they will match is very helpful!

Jacob came back after they had inspected my car and suggested that I should replace the rear wiper blade, which I asked them to do. As always, I was treated courteously. Was there for an oil change and tire rotation. They took me in immediately through the express entrance. The wait was approximately an hour. They have a comfortable lounge. The service advisor keep me informed of the progress. Good experience overall.

I dealt with Jacob Miller. He was courteous and very professional. My battery needed to be replaced. He explained that to me and the cost to replace it. The decision to replace it was left up to me. They didn't just replace it and then hit me with bill.

I had to t a ke ny car back before they did not check the air pressure in tires to find out that a nail was in the right front tire. My time is very precious.i do not have time to keep returning for service that's hold ha e been checked the first time. Not a very happy customer.

Had a great experience with their service center. Tried getting a recall done through my dealership where I actually purchased my vehicle from for over 6 months but kept getting the run around, so I called this location and they made the process simple. I was put on a list to get the part ordered and within a week I was scheduled to get my vehicle serviced. Had a recall done on top of another issue I had and it went smoothly.

Service, maintenance and Recall all done in one visit. It was a good experience. I had to work and the transportation service took me to work and after few hours, called me to let me know that it was done. Driver picked me up, took me back to Honda. And my car was waiting for me.

As usual, everyone in the service department was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and professional!! I love taking my car to Honda on Sunset Boulevard. They have been the only place that has serviced my car since I bought it there in 2009 and I wouldn't think of getting it serviced anywhere else. Fast service. However, we have two CR-Vs, same year, one is EX-L one is EX. Service writer didn't check VIN and applied serviced items to incorrect vehicle. We called back next day and talked to another person in service who said he would take care and update correct records on EX instead of EX-L.
