Seriously, don't trust that manager. We agreed on a price, test drove the car, waited, and followed up for five days. When the car was finally ready, I brought my down payment check and hired an independent mechanic to check it out. Even though there were some minor issues, the manager tried to add $500 to the price we agreed on, even though we were ready to buy the car. He totally screwed up the deal and broke my trust. I ended up getting a car from another place the next day. Since he lied from the start, I wouldn't trust anything they say or any of their cars. And to top it off, they ran a hard credit check twice! I only applied for the car based on the original deal, not the new numbers he pulled. It's very clear the manager cause all that miss, all salesmen where nice and tried to sell the car. He increased the price on Carfax $3k more when he saw my interest in buying the car! The car was listed for 4 months! No wonder the car not sold.
