We showed up with cash in hand after being in contact by phone and email (emails canned responses). We drove 1.5 hrs, showed up cash in hand and gave the name of the person I spoke with by phone the previous day. When told he had customers in the office he simply replied (we could hear him) " I am with a customer". Nothing else, no offer to wait, or will be there shortly, nothing. Receptionist asked if someone else could help so gave her the name on one of the canned email responses I received and she stated she would get someone to help us. We went outside to wait and after being basically ignored for about 25 minutes we realized they were not interested in even talking to us. Why? No real idea. Perhaps because we were a senior couple in our farm clothes? I really cannot come up with any other cogent reason since no one really interacted with us on any personal level. It really was a bit of a surreal experience. I attempted to contact the dealer via email just to relay the experience. Having been a business owner I understand the challenges of knowing what is going on out front all of time. At this time I have not received any reply. I went to this dealership based on reviews online. While I realize off days happen, the lack of follow up has me questioning my evaluation strategy. Not even angry here, I just want to relay my honest and factual experience so that perhaps the dealer or other potential customers may benefit.
