They overcharge. If you have a problem with your car they charge an extra price to diagnose problem. Which in my years of going to shops they dont charge if you pay them to do the repairs. Further they did an over all " courtesy" inspection of the whole car which I didnt request which was most likely reflected in the diagnosis Charge.

Thank you for leaving your review Mr. Cox. Looking back at your invoice you had scheduled for a check engine light diagnostic. We properly tested the system and advised you the catalytic converter was internally failing. We also told you that repair was not urgent as the check engine was intermittent but will need addressed in the future. Upon our test drive we could hear a knocking noise and vibration while driving, so yes we looked into that while it was on the lift and advised you that the left front strut mount was broken creating an unsafe condition. Therefore we presented an estimate for replacing both front strut assemblies which you then authorized. The diagnostic charge was solely for the time my technician spent in properly diagnosing the catalytic converter failure which we estimated and notated to you as well as advising you it is not urgent at this time but something to plan for. I don't feel this is a fair review of our service to you as we in now way forced you into making a repair, everything was properly evaluated, estimated, and explained to you, so you could make the best decision for your vehicle and your budget. Glen's recently did a full top end engine service on my 2017 Dodge Durango. The 3.6l had developed the dreaded "lifter tick" which ruined one of the heads. The service took longer than anticipated due to parts availability, not thru any fault of Glen's. They were courteous, friendly, and went the extra mile to make certain that I was satisfied. I can absolutely recommend Glen's for any vehicle service, and will happily return.
